Open rate

The percentage of sent emails that the recipient opens. Tracked via a pixel or link click.

How we use it at Agentic Demand

We do not track open rate as a success metric. Open tracking is unreliable in 2026: Apple Mail Privacy Protection and corporate scanners pre-open messages, which inflates the number without telling you who actually read anything. We optimize reply rate, positive reply rate, and bounce rate instead, and we protect the deliverability that real opens depend on.
